A Perfect Session to Represent April being Autism Awareness Month-Kesha Archer, Jeremiah and Jonah4/30/2017 It wasn't until after the session which I learned of April being Autism Awareness Month! This session was such an honor to be apart of. I truly felt that the lord used me as one of his many tools in capturing this family at their best! Especially Jeremiah,8,who is autistic. This session was very hands on and to top it off, it was a last minute session I agreed to schedule in the rain! Why? because Jeremiah loves water... so we decided to shoot the session at Stone Mountain Parks Covered Bridge, Thinking it would allow me to capture them in a very organic fashion without getting too wet. On the way I stopped and got a few umbrellas and flip flops because not only did it rain we had flooding..... none the less the session was amazing and the images are priceless. I was worried my flash would have a negative effect on Jeremiah,,, not at all! It brought him to life! i got all types of images, from splashing in the puddles to a huge perfect smile and even him giving mommy kisses.... bless little jonah's heart, he was not game for this at all... he was cold and wet,,, and didn't want to get his shoes dirty either! i don't blame him at all but he was such a good sport! Many kudos to this champ for hanging in there with us! The Barnwell Elementary Schools Spring Fling Adult Only Event was held at the Country Club of The South's Clubhouse, The event took place inside the clubhouse itself as well as in the Mens Only Area where normally women aren't allowed, per club policy. The event consisted of a Silent Auction, $20 Wine Grab Bags, A Wine Tasting sponsored by Kroger, A Rum Tasting, and lots of Food and Beverages.
The event was sponsored by both local and worldwide companies such as Caddilac. At the end of the night the silent auction raised $12,000 in funds which are being used for Barnwell Elementary Schools new additions to their outdoor areas for children. They plan to have a sensory garden as well as an amphitheater be built! The night was a success and everyone enjoyed themselves with good company, good food and good wine for a night just for the parents. It was super nice getting to meet the Carroll Family... all 15 of them plus 1 friend! I am so tickled that Morgan chose me as her photographer for her big day! And of coarse I include a Free Engagement Session with every wedding I book to help my clients get to know me and what to expect before the big day! Their wedding will be October 22nd at THE GRANDE in Kennesaw! Its a brand new venue but has so much potential compared to the images that are on the website! :) I can't wait to see Morgan, who is also a distant cousin of mine say her I do's! It seems like yesterday we were hunting eggs at her Grandma's and my aunt Janice's house! Which is now three houses... :( so sad... so without further ado.... I present... the soon to be Joselove's Had Such a wonderful time with my Easter Mini Sessions! Cadbury was too funny! Check out a few of the images from the sessions! Well.. turns out we are family after all! Christi Myers contacted me regarding a session to document her daughter Cheyenne's 2nd Birthday @ our Great Uncle Harvey's farm in Rutledge, Georgia. Cheyenne was determined to find the moo cows... so we trumped all over a 20acre farm to finally find the moo moos and then they runned oft! Dern Moo Moo's! #NickiRutledgephotography #GeorgiaChildrensPhotographer #OrganicandWhimsicalPhotographer |
