A big Thank You to Amanda Gardner with Colors of Life Photography for allowing me to fill her shoes this year. Due to her being in her last weeks of pregnancy, she would have been miserable in the heat. So she reached out to us Students, and I was chosen!! EEK!
It was A Very Exciting Experience & Great Fun! The Show is located Under the Barn at the Gwinnett County Fair, and happens every year. All of the FAA (Future Farmers of America) are there prepping their animals waiting for their Class to be called to the ring. The lighting was a very simple and sweet constant two light scenario. I photographed the Grand and Reserve Winners from each Classification of the Bulls, Cows, Sheep, Goats, etc.. Gwinnett Tech, is also where Amanda attended and was one of my assistant teachers during my first year of the photography program. Amanda was such a great help while I was learning how to develop Black and White 4x5 Film.... learning the various Portraiture lighting scenarios etc.. I honestly don't know if I could have ever done it without her! |
